Africa Earth Observation SpaceTech

The Africa Earth Observation (AEO) Challenge is an annually run open innovation challenge that has been sourcing novel uses of space technologies since 2015. The aim of this challenge is to drive entrepreneurial activity in the African space industry and promote awareness of the value of earth observation data (EOD) across the continent and in multiple sectors such as water and food security, mining, logistics, insurance, and many more.  ​The finalists for 2022 are completing the Investment Readiness Course in the TechTribe Accelerator, and receiving mentorship from experts in the industry.
