Section A: Getting started

It depends on which programme you’re doing, as each programme has its length.

For example, Investment Readiness Programme is 5 – 7 months long. For self study, generally each module requires 2-4 hours to complete including exercises and thinking. (The programmed is composed of 9 modules)

The Commercialisation Master Programme is 3 months long, The Art of Pitching is 3 weeks long and so on.

When you go to the website, choose the course, and click on the sign-up bottom. You’ll take simple steps to sign up.

Once you applied for a course, you then receive an invoice where you can make a bank transform payment by PayPal or credit card. 

Yes, we use PayPal as a payment engage way and it accepts master card or VISA credits.

Yes, in principle we offer refunds. If you’re not happy with your program and progress after the first 30 days, you can get money back. 

We totally believe in our system, and have seen that it brings value to entrepreneurs but it does take time for you to see the values.

Therefore, if you’re not happy after 30 days of being with us, you get a money back guarantee. 

This applies if its less than 60 days and you have not completed more than 30% of the program.

No, if you pay everything upfront, you’ll get 20% discount, however you’re only required to pay 15% of registration fee in order to start your program. And then the rest you can pay before computing the program. 

Yes, our payment term is:

Pay 15% deposit upfront then pay the rest of the 85% within 90 days after starting the programme. 

If you need a mentor, please email: hello@techtribeaccelerator.com and you’ll be assigned one at a fee. 

We work with industry experts from different industries, backgrounds, and the regions in order to help entrepreneurs succeed. Therefore, our mentors are based on your needs.

SECTION B: Networking and Match & Invest (M&I)

Yes. If you join the TTA, you will be a part of Tech Tribe Community that is a Pan-African online community.

Yes, the platform is built on Moodle and it is a mobile-friendly website. The TechTribe community has a mobile application that you can download from Play store or iStore.

The system is low-bandwidth, the videos are small and some of our videos adjust to your bandwidth level. You do not have to watch the videos as key concepts are discussed in the texts and images as well the assignments which are all downloadable.

If you have any challenges with your internet access, please contact hello@techtribeaccelerator.com and we’ll be able to provide you with alternative access to videos.

Yes, absolutely. TTA program is based on tangible outcomes where everything you do is practical and immediately useful in your business.

We work with hundreds of entrepreneurs and learnt from them that 80% of them prefer online acceleration. 

  1. You can progress at your own time and your own pace.
  2. You can go back and forth unlike traditional acceleration which usually goes forward only:  you have access to your mentors and content online  at your own pace.
  3. You don’t have to travel anywhere as long as you have internet connection on your mobile phone or desktop device, you can access to the program.
  4. You’re able to connect through the community to the other entrepreneurs on the acceleration in the organic way. 

Here are some study tips:  

  1. Offline study tactics such as writing notes down or creating visual aids can help you retain the information covered during your classes. 
  2. Plan by creating a weekly schedule of your deadlines and study hours to make sure you have time set aside to complete your assignments on time. 
  3. You should acknowledge procrastination and address the risk immediately. Identify if the procrastination is caused by something you can resolve or if you should reach out for help to remove any roadblocks. 

No, you don’t have to prepare anything to join the program, all required material is provided. if it is not a part of the program, extra resources are provided.

SECTION D: Investment Readiness Programme

To apply you need to fill in this form. We will then contact you before the new cohort starts

There is a mentorship option available: $15 to $100 per hour​ (depending on what expertise you want from mentor). Please contact us if you would like to get mentorship.​

When we contact you, we will first ask if mentorship is something you are interested in. If you already have a mentor,then you will pay less for the course, and we will not allocate a new mentor to you.  

Depending on if you need a mentor or not, the price will vary with the maximum price being R28000 ($850).  

Yes, a self- learning option is also available and you can apply for that throughout the year. 

Yes. At the end of programme, you will receive and create (with guidance) an investor list aligned to your business.

  1. A two-page investment teaser
  2. A detailed business plan
  3. A 3-5 year financial plan
  4. A 15-slide pitch deck
  5. List of high-potential investors

SECTION E: Commercialisation Master Programme

To apply you need to fill in this form. We will then contact you before the new cohort starts. 

When we contact you about the joining the new cohort, we will also gather more information on your company and your specific needs and industry. This information will then be used to match you with a mentor that could help you take your business to the next level. 

When we contact you, we will first ask if mentorship is something you are interested in. If you already have a mentor,then you will pay less for the course, and we will not allocate a new mentor to you.  

The cost of the MRP is $350 + optional mentor fee ($15 to $100 per hour)

Yes, there is a self-study option available where you can independently go through the programme and share all assignments with your external mentors. This is different to a cohort as you will not receive content support from the TTA team nor be able to join any webinars on the content.  

SECTION F: Art of Pitching Programme

Click on the top right of your screen: login signup. Create a profile on our learning management system. You will then be able to see “The Art of Pitching” as a course you can purchase. Click on the course, pay for the course, and enjoy. Please see below for more detailed steps. 

With self-study you will need to independently go through the programme and share all assignments with your external mentors. The course had videos, case studies, and great content to guide you on your way to putting together a showstopper pitch. 

The price is standard for all start-ups, costing R450 ($25) for a minimum of 6 months access to the content. 

SECTION G: Bioscience Commercialization Programme

To apply you need to fill in this form. We will then contact you before the new cohort starts. 

When we contact you about the joining the new cohort, we will also gather more information on your company and your specific needs and industry. This information will then be used to match you with a mentor that could help you take your business to the next level. 

When we contact you, we will first ask if mentorship is something you are interested in. If you already have a mentor,then you will pay less for the course, and we will not allocate a new mentor to you.  

The pricing is made up of five core elements that ensure you get the best out of each course.

  2. Access to a Community,
  3. Access to mentorship
  4. Admin support services and
  5. Access to insightful events.


The price varies for each program as its formulated for your needs. Please take look at the program of interest for the specific breakdown.

No, we do not offer a self-study option at this point in time. Courses are scheduled every three to six months. You can join to go through the program by yourself during these times.
